Coralville, Iowa – The Iowa Heartlanders executed the first trade in team history Monday, acquiring forward Jonathan Desbiens from the Maine Mariners in exchange for future considerations.Desbiens (pronounced: DAY-bee-en) played one game for Maine, ECHL affiliates of the Boston Bruins. He signed an ECHL contract with the Mariners this summer.The 25-year-old skated for Bentley University from 2016-20 and scored 102 points (49g) in 139 career games.
